چکیده

Abstract We consider finite-dimensional Hopf algebras $u$ that admit a smooth deformation $U\to u$ by Noetherian algebra $U$ of finite global dimension. Examples such include small quantum groups over the complex numbers, restricted enveloping in characteristic, and Drinfeld doubles height $1$ group schemes. provide means analyzing (cohomological) support for representations $u$, via singularity categories hypersurfaces $U/(f)$ associated with functions $f$ on corresponding parametrization space. use this hypersurface approach to establish tensor product property cohomological support, following examples: scheme, certain 1 solvable schemes, bosonized complete intersections, Borel type $A$.

Actions of Hopf algebras on noncommutative algebras

Often A is called H-module algebra. We refer reader to [11, 6] for the basic information concerning Hopf algebras and their actions on associative algebras. Definition 1.2 The invariants of H in A is the set AH of those a ∈ A, that ha = ε(h)a for each h ∈ H. Straightforward computations show, that AH is subalgebra of A. The notion of action of Hopf algebra on associative algebra generalize the ...

Hopf Algebras in Noncommutative Geometry

We give an introductory survey to the use of Hopf algebras in several problems of noncommutative geometry. The main example, the Hopf algebra of rooted trees, is a graded, connected Hopf algebra arising from a universal construction. We show its relation to the algebra of transverse differential operators introduced by Connes and Moscovici in order to compute a local index formula in cyclic coh...

Hopf Algebras, Renormalization and Noncommutative Geometry

We explore the relation between the Hopf algebra associated to the renormalization of QFT and the Hopf algebra associated to the NCG computations of tranverse index theory for foliations.

Examples of Support Varieties for Hopf Algebras with Noncommutative Tensor Products Dave Benson and Sarah Witherspoon

The representations of some Hopf algebras have curious behavior: Nonprojective modules may have projective tensor powers, and the variety of a tensor product of modules may not be contained in the intersection of their varieties. We explain a family of examples of such Hopf algebras and their modules, and classify left, right, and two-sided ideals in their stable module categories.

Homology TQFT’s via Hopf Algebras

In [5] Frohman and Nicas define a topological quantum field theory via the intersection homology of U(1)-representation varieties J(X) = Hom(π1(X), U(1)). We show that this TQFT is equivalent to the combinatorially constructed Hennings-TQFT based on the quasitriangular Hopf algebra N = Z/2 ⋉ ∧ ∗ R. The natural SL(2,R)-action on N is identified with the SL(2,R)action for the Lefschetz decomposit...
